GubaPest was born from a childhood favourite: the traditional Hungarian mákos guba, reimagined for today. We kept its familiar, comforting roots, and gave them a modern twist with exciting flavours. We believe Hungarian cuisine can be both tradtitional and unexpected – this is GubaPest.

The heart of every dish is the same: our take on traditional mákos guba - soft bread, toadted poppy seeds and a distinctive Hungarian character. Then we take it in different directions.
Sweet
Creamy, fruity, nutty fresh - familiar flavours with a Hungarian soul. Poppy seed, nutella, pistacchio and much more.
Savoury
Unexpected combinations of breed cheese/sour creem, meat and rich savoury toppings - created for those who prefer their gube on the adventurous side.
